Update
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) met on March 2 after we received a list of nominees from the regional office. This was a compiled list of all the nominees that we were to consider for our District Superintendent.
We have prayerfully reviewed the list of nominees and we have prioritized the nominees to be considered for interviewing. The General Superintendents will now be reviewing this list and they may add or remove names from the list. Then the DAC will prayerfully consider the resulting list. The goal is to arrive at 2-4 interviewees by March 19 when we will meet again with Stan Reeder, our Regional Director.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we pray that you will guide us in this process as we look at the list of candidates for our Northeast Oklahoma District Superintendent. We pray you will settle our hearts and minds and direct us clearly. We pray, Father, that you will begin to move in the hearts and minds of the interviewees and make it clear to them, Lord, beyond any doubt that they are willing to listen to you as you lay it on their hearts.
