Update
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) conducted interviews with four interviewees on April 20 and has determined two candidates to present for consideration on the first ballot of the District Assembly June 5 and 6.
As we move into the final phase of this process, we ask for continued prayers for the candidates, their families, and for all of us as a district as we gather to elect a new District Superintendent. Please pray for God’s direction, unity of purpose and Christlikeness in the final step of this process. Pray for His anointing for the person elected to serve the Lord and this district well in the new role. Please also pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit on His people and fruitfulness in fulfilling our mission as His church.
Prayer
Dear Jesus,
We seek you and ask for your continued direction as we complete the process to elect a new District Superintendent for NE OK. Go before us and go behind us as we discern your will. Continue to be with Dave and Gloria as they finish the tasks necessary to end their time in the position of District Superintendent. Lord, we ask that the floodgates of blessings will be open and your grace and mercy will continue to fill us as we seek you and give you glory for all that has happened and for all that is to come. Be with the new DS as they seek your will in their call and with their family as they make transitions to this position. If a move is required, we ask your hand to be in the details. May your will be done, Lord.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus.
