Regional Quiz 2024 Report
Our NEO Children’s Quizzers traveled to SNU on June 15 to participate in the Regional Quiz 2024. Despite the heat and space challenges created by a failed a/c unit in the SNU auditorium, they had a fun day and came away with the following results:
Muskogee First: Elias (silver), Elizabeth (gold), Rebecca (gold)
Owasso Silver Creek: Britney (bronze), Madison (bronze), Tamara (silver)
Tulsa Regency Park: Daisy (silver), Stefan (gold)

NEO KIDS CAMP 2024 – July 8-11, 2024
Are you ready to “travel” around the world at camp this summer? Along the way, you’ll face a number of challenges, some will challenge your body, some will challenge your mind. But all challenges lead to the most AMAZING RACE there has ever been. The prize at the end of this AMAZING RACE is more valuable that $1,000,000!
NEO Kids Camp is for kids who have completed the 1st through the 6th grades.

2024 District Discipleship Day
Now is the time to make plans to attend our upcoming “District Discipleship Day” on Saturday, August 17, hosted at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa. NMI, NYI, and NDI are teaming up for inspirational sessions and relevant training from speakers including Trey and Candice Brooks (keynote speakers), new Global NDI Director Sam Barber, Scott Rainey, Steve Spangenberg, Amanda Carroll, Greg Presley, Austin Troyer, Keith Schubert, Hal Perkins, and Arleen Crutcher. There’ll be something for everyone!

Ecclesia, New Start Church, Baptism
Our new start church, Ecclesia, had a great celebration service gathering at Skiatook lake. The picture above is the baptism of Dimitri Elkins. Baptism is always a highlight, but Pastor Josh Duell said this one of the unexpected joys of this special sacrament was seeing the people behind them, unaffiliated with the church, cheering when Dimitri got baptized!

In Memory of Lum Newberry
We offer sympathy to the family of Pastor Lum Newberry, who passed away June 11. For more than 34 years, he faithfully served God and the Church of the Nazarene as a wise and devoted pastor, including at Owasso, Dewey, Okmulgee and Tulsa Faith in Northeast Oklahoma. Only eternity will reveal the many lives he touched for Christ and the Kingdom. As we grieve, we find comfort in knowing Lum has already heard the Master say, “Well done, good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of the Lord.”

We are looking for students heading to OU this fall. If you have someone in your church, friends group, or area you know are heading to OU please send us some contact information (phone number, address) so we can reach out and begin building a relationship early. If it’s possible to include this as a slide before services or inside a bulletin that would be awesome. We cannot do this without you!
